Careers Takeoff Cambridge MBA Livestream!

I was invited by the executive director Conrad Chua of The Cambridge MBA, Judge Business School, to participate in a livestream about remote study and work. We discussed my views on the future of Higher Education after Covid-19, my research at Cambridge University, my podcast 'Cambridge Quaranchats' and my album 'Please Hold'. We also talked about my coaching enterprise Edu-Coaching and how I'm helping students to adjust to digital learning styles and adopt new productivity habits during the shift to online learning.

Dat hoogbegaafde leerlingen een ander aanbod nodig hebben dan het standaard curriculum, begint in het primair onderwijs langzaam door te dringen. In het voortgezet en hoger onderwijs is hier nog minder aandacht voor. Hoogbegaafde jongeren voelen zich niet gezien, vervelen zich, raken gedeprimeerd of gaan ten onder aan hun eigen perfectionisme. Onderwijskundige Simone Eringfeld zette daarom passende online begeleiding op voor hoogbegaafde scholieren en studenten.

From growing up to her new spoken word album PLEASE HOLD... In 4 segments from Monday to Thursday, Simone tells her life story, with tracks from the album played after the interview.

A research project which asked University of Cambridge staff and students to describe their biggest hopes – and darkest fears – for post-pandemic higher education has found that many would support a permanent, but partial, shift to online learning.
​
The finding comes from a study which began when the UK first went into lockdown in March 2020, forcing universities to move some teaching online. Ten months on, it suggests that academics and students would favour more ‘blended’ learning – a balance between virtual and face-to-face education – even when the pandemic is over.
